Accounts Payable Clerk in California

We are looking for a skilled Accounts Payable Clerk who will work closely with the AP Lead to be responsible for processing invoices received for payment in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner.

• Process outgoing payments in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
• Understands expense accounts and GL codes
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes (W-9, sales tax, etc.)
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Process freight invoices such as UPS, DHL and FedEx
• Process expense reports
• Process credit card statements monthly using MS Excel
• Other tasks as needed or assigned.
