Senior Cost Engineer in California

The Tsui Group is seeking a qualified and experienced Sr. Cost Engineer to join our aviation team in Los Angeles County. The Sr. Cost Engineer shall be responsible for developing and maintaining cost data for new construction and renovation work, as required for Terminal Development & Improvement Program projects. These projects may include but are not limited to: Airline Terminal Improvement projects, Airport Service Improvement projects, Terminal Development projects and Asset Renewal.

Key Responsibilities

Cost Management:

• Oversee cost control functions for multiple large-scale projects, ensuring accuracy in the development and maintenance of project budgets, baselines, and expenditure plans for both short- and long-term project durations.

Budget & Forecasting:

• Develop and manage cost forecasts, tracking project financials, and providing up-to-date expenditure projections. Ensure consistency in maintaining and adjusting budgets to align with project progress and changes.

Change Orders:

• Handle the financial impacts of frequent change orders, ensuring that cost adjustments are accurately reflected in the project’s financial plans.
