Intern - Emergency Management in Colorado

The Emergency Management Intern will will support all emergency management functions of ACDC by assisting their supervisor and/or Peer Mentor in organizational operations related to the recovery division functions. Interns will participate in cross-training opportunities within ACDC’s various Divisions, which may include preparedness, planning, resilience and mitigation, disaster grant management, response operations, Homeland Security, critical infrastructure, and more. The Emergency Management Engineering Intern will support ACDC's Recovery Division by assisting in various civil engineering projects related to public infrastructure and utilities. Interns will gain exposure to grant application and implementation processes, state and/or federal permitting, project scope and cost development, and feasibility and preliminary design of engineering projects. Each Engineering Intern will have a specific work portfolio based on their skill sets and desired expertise.

The position will be guided by ACDC’s Corporate Values Platform in all activities.
