Demand & Inventory Planner in Illinois

SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Supply Chain VP, this role leads decision-making process for demand & inventory planning with all cross-functional teams, working closely with other departments, sales, marketing & product management, service and accounting to meet company objectives. The role develops inventory planning strategy for the US warehouses, ensuring the regional demand and fill rate of 95% is achieved on the top 25 SKU’s, 90% fill rate on all others, while keeping the aged inventory and overall working capital at optimum levels. The role has direct impact on company main objectives of 1) Being a reliable Supplier 2) Being easy to business with 3) Profitably revenue growth. Key KPI’s metrics include; on time and accurate ETA’s; maintaining appropriate safety stock to in country to support growth; minimizing aged inventory; maximizing working capital by achieving higher inventory turnover.
