JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Coordinator will assist various departments in their daily tasks. This will include coordinating with vendors, office communications/meetings, data entry, record keeping, purchasing, file management and other clerical duties. This person will be working in a Manufacturing environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for maintaining and updating quotes and new part project tracker logs.
• Assists with securing and analyzing quotations; negotiates prices and terms.
• Prepares and issues purchase orders, changes notices and communication with suppliers
• Reviews inventory level to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity.
• Weekly reviews Vendor Open Order Report to expedite late product not received.
• Verifies supplier invoices to purchase orders and approves bills for payment.
