Inclusion Coordinator, Camp Kaleidoscope, Summer Day Camp in Massachusetts

Camp Kaleidoscope’s Inclusion Coordinator supervises a team of one-on-one Advocate Counselors and provides direct service to campers with special needs and behavioral challenges to facilitate inclusion with their peers via supportive, effective camper and staff interactions. The Inclusion Coordinator is essential in ensuring that the camp is inclusive for all campers, staff, families, and guests. This role works with the Camp Leadership Team to ensure all camp programs (schedules, activities, and special events), policies, training, and operations/functions are developed and facilitated through an inclusive lens. The Inclusion Coordinator is responsible for developing and facilitating training and ongoing support for Advocate Counselor staff, who provide one-on-one care for campers with special needs to ensure they are fully included in activities with their peers.
