Policy Support Technician in New Hampshire

The Policy Support Technician (Underwriting Support Clerk) is responsible for general clerical duties within the Underwriting Department in support of the Underwriting Operations. This job consists of the processing of applications for insurance, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, audits, binders and related material following specific procedures and guidelines under general supervision.

Responsibilities

• Rates and/or codes new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and performs other policyholder service functions.
• Accurately enters business in the company portal.
• Maintains policy files in proper order.
• Communicates by phone or letter with agents and company departments.
• Provides technical assistance in support of the Underwriting Operation.
