Chief Clerk in Pennsylvania

A recent resignation results in our search for a critical part of the County of Blair leadership team: Chief Clerk. Our hire is charged with day-to-day operations management and oversight of all departments under the authority of the Board of Commissioners; works closely with organization leaders to develop, plan, implement, direct, oversee, and/or assess programs and policies; and performs executive-level, complex duties to assist Board in its management of County, its programs, and its expenses.

Essential duties include:

• Executes and enforces all policies, ordinances, regulations, and operational matters under the leadership of the Board of Commissioners in order to comply with statutory and governmental laws, and to provide the most effective and efficient services to constituents.
