Access Services is seeking Children's Mental Health Respite Worker to spend time with children & youth as part of our Respite Services team in many locations across Montgomery County.
As a Children’s Mental Health Respite Worker, you will provide relief to families and caregivers by offering hourly respite for a child or youth in their home or community. Qualifying respite children and youth have a mental health or behavioral health diagnosis. Families who apply to this program may lack the natural support to be able to accomplish tasks, practice self-care and take the time to recharge. Offering respite allows the family or caregiver of a child to leave the home, take a break, and be refreshed while their child is safely cared for by a Children's Mental Health Respite Worker. This role is uniquely designed to allow the respite time to be devoted to sharing tasks and activities children and youth enjoy.
