Appeals and Compliance Specialist

Starting Salary: $84,495 - $101,395

This position reports to the Executive Director and is responsible for managing complaints, informal resolution meetings, mediations, and appeals, ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations— as well adherence to GGRC’s contract with the Department of Developmental Services, and other requirements. In addition, the position acts as a liaison to track legislation and facilitates revisions to applicable policies, procedures and forms as needed to comply with changes in the applicable laws, regulations and contract amendments. The position is also responsible for communicating these changes to GGRC departments, staff and stakeholders, as appropriate.
