Parallel Employment is currently seeking a qualified Wet Blending Operator for a client in Racine, WI. The Wet Blending Operator works under the guidance of the Wet Blending Lead Operator on the process of batching and blending in the wet production department, ensuring compliance with FDA FSMA and Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI) requirements.

Job Duties:

• Obtain picking sheets daily from Lead Operator
• Process ingredients in proper order
• Verify that metal detector and all processing equipment are operating in a safe manner
• Pack totes/pails/boxes to proper weight, label and seal properly
• Complete required documentation
• Scan finished product into inventory
• Perform daily cleaning assignments

This will include the ability to read from product formula cards, verify and record lot numbers and product codes, measure ingredient weights by using a scale and adding products into tanks. Production checklists are to be followed and filled out for each product completely. Operators will be responsible for taking samples of finished blends for QA analysis and recording data onto formula cards. After QA has approved the blend is correct, the operator will package off the material into approved vessels again using a scale and assuring proper weight is added to each vessel.
