Electronic Test Technician

Responsibilities. Below are the basic responsibilities, but the technician’s role may expand as necessary to adapt the current needs of the task:

1. Conducting product tests, both at top and sub-assembly levels

2. Compiling product reports and results based on those tests.

3. Responsible for analyzing and suggesting a repair for failed unit and circuit card assembly (CCA), so must have the skills for testing and troubleshooting electronic equipment, components, and parts.

4. Performing multipoint inspections of products against drawings.

5. Creating/improving documentation for the testing of PCB assemblies.

6. Ensuring to maintain testing equipment/stations, including compiling list of component requirements for test stations.

7. Working with Engineering to design and test cables/harnesses.
