Farm & Restoration Field Technician

Canopy Farm Management offers tree planting and management services to farmers and landowners in the Midwest. As the for-profit branch of the Savanna Institute, we are actively working to promote the widespread adoption of agroforestry as a climate solution in agriculture. We provide comprehensive design and management solutions, handling everything from start to finish. Alongside seasonal implementation jobs, Canopy currently manages 7+ farms. The Technician will work as part of a team to establish and maintain perennial agroecological systems. This is a manual, outdoor field work position that will involve driving company trucks and trailers, operating tractors and a wide range of implements and other specialty equipment and tools, data collection, and troubleshooting equipment.
