The Field Gleaning Coordinator is responsible for coordinating our Gleaning Program. They must develop and maintain a network of farmers, volunteers, and interns. They must harvest crops and fruit from residential Farms, farmers’ fields, and any other sites, then distribute it to our food bank clients.
The priority for this position is to oversee and coordinate all Gleaning activities and maintain relationships with our partners.
This is a part-time position that requires the employee to work approximately 25-40 hours per week, 22 weeks per year during the gleaning season (June - October 31st). Depending on the gleaning schedule, The hours are flexible throughout the week.
