Librarian and Middle School English Teacher

St. Luke’s School, a secular (non-religious), college-preparatory day school serving grades 5 through 12, seeks a dynamic, inspiring Librarian and English Teacher. This individual will teach two sections of 8th grade English as well as the 6th grade Library class in addition to partnering with the Library Director in leading programming, collaborating with teachers, and working with individual students. 

The St. Luke's Library resides at the heart of a 36,000-sq.ft. Humanities and Art wing that opened in September 2018, housing abundant resources including a carefully curated print collection, more than 200k e-books, a Discovery catalog, and a robust suite of databases. The Library also includes a dedicated instructional classroom, breakout space, and an adjacent cafe, with opportunities that abound for collaboration, creativity, and camaraderie.
