Opportunity & Background 

SecondMuse Capital’s Future Economy Lab (“FEL”) is a global collaborative research & design approach that innovates how we finance the development of new economies, developing investment products for  high positive impact. Through the lab, SecondMuse Capital and Grantmakers for Girls of Color (G4GC)  have partnered to foster  abundant investment in the present and futures of girls and gender expansive youth of Color (ages 13-24). Over the past two years, we have been working with girls and gender expansive youth of Color and their communities to understand where they see the most opportunities for impact. A first investment product designed in the lab is an early stage venture capital fund to invest in a number of sectors, in line with outcomes articulated throughout the lab by youth (see this one-pager for more details), and  where we are looking for a fund managing director to lead this work.
