The Iowa Primary Care Association is actively recruiting a PRN family medicine nurse practitioner(NP) or physician assistant (PA) for a migrant farmworker clinic in Des Moines, IA. 

Position Details:

• Provide primary care services to migrant farmworkers at Des Moines clinic.
• Perform primary care including: conduct health histories and physicals, diagnose, determine course of action, order labs and tests, interpret results within scope of practice.
• All adult population, primarily retired farmworkers.
• Bilingual in Spanish strongly desired.

Schedule:

• Day of week is flexible, M-F; and once a month a Saturday clinic.
• Ideally will have clinic one day a week.
• Typically 4 hours of clinic + charting time.

• 2 exam rooms, lab draw room, 340b pharmacy, point of care lab machines.
