Purchasing/Inventory Control Coordinator

Job Description: 

Sorting Robotics Inc. is looking for a Purchasing/ Inventory Control Coordinator to help procuring inventory and organizing supplies for the production staff. The position reports to the the Production Manager.

Preferred: Must be comfortable with cannabis (preferred you enjoy it and have experienced it) as we manufacture robotic innovations for the legal cannabis market in the US and Canada.

The Purchasing/ Inventory Control Coordinator’s primary duties include but are not limited to:

• Assist with the procurement of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Buys materials within cost estimate and delivered on time
• Follow up on all open orders, including ship date, tracking number or status.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and terms of contracts.
• Conduct research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
