The Rapid Rehousing Specialist (RRS) will assist homeless individuals and families transitioning from the emergency shelter into permanent housing. The Rapid Rehousing Specialist reports directly to the Shelter Manager.

Essential Duties

Work closely with the Shelter Manager, Case Managers to identify housing resources for clients at shelter. This will include families, single men, and single woman.

Develop and implement appropriate comprehensive individual service plans to assist clients in obtaining housing within 90 days from entering shelters; this includes conducting assessment interviews; providing assistance in identifying housing, assisting clients in completing all necessary application forms and providing this information to participants; assist in securing necessary documents needed to acquire permanent housing; working with case managers in obtaining and maintaining self-sustaining sources of income, benefits, and other...
