O2B Kids began in Gainesville, FL in 1998 and has grown widely in Florida, Georgia, and Minnesota, with MANY locations on the horizon, including several new Georgia locations, and new states too!

• Work Monday - Friday from 1pm - 4pm (availability to cross-train to aquire FT hours with increased benefits)
• During the school year, drive a school bus part time in the afteroon (M-F) to escort children from elementary school to O2B Kids (possible field trips too)
• During the Summer, drive a school bus full time to escort our campers to a variety of field trips throughout the week
• Ensure bus safety including pre-trip inspection and post-trip inspection
• Communicate with additional bus counselors to ensure safety - you get to focus on driving while they assist...

Applicants with Class A or Class B CDL, with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements with a minimum of three years' driving experience are preferred. Requirements

1. Hold and maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License with P & S endorsement.

2. Be a reliable person of good character who shall possess the qualifications and communication skills necessary to perform the duties of the position, and comply with the rules set forth for drivers in all federal, state and local regulations including, but not limited to, the Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act, N.J.S.A. 18A:39-17 through 20 (background check), and tuberculosis testing.

3. Have a minimum of three years’ previous safe driving experience.

The bus driver will perform the following duties:

• Operate the daily bus route, morning and afternoon, to and from the Bluffton campus to Hilton Head Island.
• Clean assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior
• Help transport vehicles for maintenance purposes
• Fuel buses as needed
• The bus driver will have the option to drive for field trips during school hours, as well as athletic events in the evenings or weekends, but these are secondary to the primary task of driving the daily Bluffton / HHI route.
