Senior Career and Academic Coach

Position Overview:

BACR’s Career Pathways division serves as the link to jobs, careers and post-secondary education. Career/academic coaches ensure participants have an understanding of high-growth sectors and careers, training and college options, and immediate employment opportunities. Career Coaches work with participants one on one in order to create participant centered career and education plans, which are designed to help them reach the short and long-term goals that will lead to economic self-sufficiency.

Applicants should have experience serving youth and adult ages 14-24 years old within the following priority populations: Justice involved, system impacted, undocumented, disconnected from education, unemployed and underemployed, public housing residents from San Francisco, foster care, pregnant and parenting. All applicants should be able to act with a sense of urgency, carry a caseload of 40 to 50 clients, should be confident with...
