Software Engineer - Senior - R34233

The mission of the program is to create a modern solution for the customer that will allow them to transition off their current, legacy system, which has not had an update in the last decade. The work is all new development efforts, with no O&M as the customer is continuing to request additional features and functions as they see the product’s progress and capabilities.

As a Sr. Engineer on the health side of the program, you would be responsible for creating custom code with the latest versions of Java and JavaScript, as well as utilizing REST APIs. It is a DevOps environment operating on SaaS platform (Salesforce). While you would need to be willing to learn the Salesforce platform, as the customer has committed to using it to building its new solution, you would not be responsible to perform declarative programing in this role – this is typically left to the Jr. Engineers on the team.
