Technology Operations Engineer

Eagle Seven is seeking a Technology Operations Engineer. Our Operations Team is at the intersection of trading, development, and systems administration and plays an integral part of our firm’s success. The team manages the deployments, scheduling, monitoring, and troubleshooting for multiple trading strategies. We are seeking an individual to help us solve complex problems and improve our processes and tools. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong sense of ownership who can anticipate challenges. Must be open to working a rotating schedule which will include US and Asia shifts.

Network and Infrastructure Management:

· Manage the systems and infrastructure of the datacenter network, including server upkeep and updates

· Set up, monitor, and resolve issues with network devices, such as switches, routers, and firewalls

· Work with other teams to plan and execute network enhancements and extensions

Network Security:

· Develop and apply security policies and procedures for the datacenter and OT networks

· Watch for any suspicious network activity and take appropriate security actions

· Keep up to date with industry standards and new security challenges

Performance Optimization:

· Continuously track and assess network performance to detect and resolve any problems

· Work with other IT experts to improve the datacenter network for optimal performance

Incident Response:

· Address IT/network-related incidents and outages quickly, finding and fixing the causes as soon as possible
