The Center for Speech and Language is a leading provider of speech and language therapy services in our region, and we are currently looking for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist at our center, you will play a crucial role in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Evaluating clients to assess their communication and swallowing abilities
- Creating individualized treatment plans to address each client's specific needs
- Providing therapy services to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Monitoring client progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals and families to coordinate care
- Maintaining accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress
- Staying informed about the latest research and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology
- Adhering to ethical and professional standards set by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)

Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Experience working with individuals with communication and swallowing disorders
- Strong knowledge of assessment and treatment techniques in speech-language pathology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Detail-oriented and capable of maintaining accurate documentation
- Compliance with ethical and professional standards set by ASHA
