Systems Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a mid to senior Systems Engineering professional to support our growing team and become our high performing, Systems Engineering expert. As a systems engineer, you will perform a variety of assignments including requirements analysis, architecture design, systems integration, new product integration, and system test. This role is critical to our cybersecurity technology to support a variety of applications. In this position, you will contribute to products which extend the state-of-the-art in Defense and Industrial cybersecurity applications. Your knowledge and experience of electronic systems and understanding of software development will augment our team and provide vital expertise for future growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support full-life cycle engineering design and development activities.
• Execute systems engineering tasks – including (but not limited to) requirements analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), requirements derivation, design support, integration planning, test, verification, risk management, and engineering analysis. 
• Prepare and present systems engineering work products to internal review teams and at program milestone reviews.
• Ability to interact daily with program managers, integrated product team leads, all engineering disciplines, and supporting functions.

Requirements

• U.S. CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain security clearance due to contractual requirements.
• B.S. Degree in Engineering or Physical Science with 7+ years’ related experience (systems or test engineering) or M.S. degree in engineering with 5+ years’ related experience.
• Experience with hardware and/or software integration, managing requirements derivation and allocation, or architecture design.
• Experience with security validation testing.
• Experience with Windows- and/or Linux- based operating systems.
• Experience with DOORS and JIRA (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Experience in a DoD environment and model-based systems engineering are preferred.
• Demonstratable experience with embedded software in defense or cybersecurity applications.
• Active Secret Clearance preferred; Secret eligibility required.
