Ally Pediatric Therapy, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for an Authorization Coordinator to join our growing team.
Our purpose is to be an ally in growth to the children and families we serve. We do this by integrating the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and speech-language pathology to deliver life changing therapy to our clients. Position Mission
- Ensure that all preservice eligibility check authorizations are obtained correctly to ensure accurate information is provided timely to patients and prevent claim denials.

Position Responsibilities:
- Provide eligibility, benefit, and expected cost summary to prospective families and answer questions regarding cost of services
- Conduct recurring eligibility scrub to avoid denials due to benefit lapses, and communicate with families as necessary
- Submit authorizations to payors, follow up to ensure authorizations are received in a timely manner
- Enter authorizations into Central Reach
- Identify trends in payor requirements, questions, and denials and educate team on ways to improve workflow
- Complete new provider credentialing
- Maintain credentials with payors
- Maintain provider credentialing tracker and ensure Central Reach claims settings are up to date
- Prepare reports as needed
- Support other revenue cycle projects and tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Information Systems, preferred
- High School Diploma, required
- CPB, CPC, or COC certification obtained or willing to obtain within 90 days, either CRCR or one of CPB,CPC, or COC, preferred
- Minimum of 5 years’ Experience in a Medical/Behavioral Health Group Practice with Emphasis on Back-Office Functions, strongly preferred
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Claims Management, HIPAA standards, CMS Requirements, CPT, and HCPS Coding, required
- Excellent technology and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, required
- Sitting, standing, and moving throughout the day in an office environment
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30pm
- Hybrid position (clinic support center (85281) and remote)
