Join ABLEMKR as a Fleet/Facilities Manager and be part of our team that oversees the management of our company's fleet of vehicles and facilities. As the Fleet/Facilities Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation and facilities systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage Fleet & Warehouse Facility: Oversee operations to ensure smooth and efficient management of fleet and warehouse facilities.
- Perform Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repairs: Carry out basic maintenance and repair tasks on vehicles to keep the fleet in optimal condition.
- Operate and Maintain Machinery: Safely operate forklifts and other machinery, performing routine maintenance and ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Property Maintenance: Ensure that the physical premises of the warehouse and any associated facilities are well-maintained, secure, and comply with safety standards.
- Inventory Management: Keep track of inventory within the warehouse, ensuring that supplies are well-organized and easily accessible.
- Communicate Effectively: Use excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills to coordinate with team members and other departments.
- Ensure Safety Compliance: Enforce safety regulations and protocols across fleet management and warehouse operations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain Records and Documentation: Keep accurate records related to fleet management, vehicle maintenance, inventory, and facility maintenance tasks.
- Problem-Solving: Address and resolve issues related to fleet management, warehouse operations, and property maintenance promptly.
- Implement Continuous Improvement: Continuously look for ways to improve operations, reduce costs, and enhance service quality.
Requirements
- Fleet management experience (Preferred)
- Forklift experience
- Property maintenance experience (Preferred)
- Construction Production Warehouse Experience
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-motivation.
- Have an acceptable driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
- Strong knowledge of Construction, general building and mechanical processes.
- Strong reading and math skills.
- Experience using mechanical tools, operating machinery, and maintaining equipment.
- Ability to lift, stack and move products over 50 lbs
- Valid Driver's License
- Must speak English fluently
