This position can be remote from anywhere in the USA.
Position Summary: Assist with or directly manage the end-to-end global compensation process for assigned Bristol clients. Tasks include (not limited to) the creation of international cost estimates; draft balance sheets and regular maintenance and updating of balance sheets; liaison with external data providers and tax firms as necessary; interaction and critical information exchange with Client home and host payroll contacts; reconciliation of monthly/periodic payroll reports; host payment accumulation and audit; interacting with Client and Bristol Expense Management Team; preparation of global statement of earnings (GSOE), participate in cross departmental meetings/conference calls and Client meetings/conference calls as required.
Essential duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Understand and execute the concepts of payroll processing including client specific payrolls, split payrolls, shadow payrolls, social taxes, hypo taxes, and gross up calculations
- Collaborate with Client Engagement team, Service Delivery Team and Client to determine accurate payroll start and end dates to ensure accuracy and timeliness in payroll communications with Client home and host payroll contacts
- Accurate calculation and audit of cost estimate and balance sheet items through review and interpretation of Client policy, assignment letter, provider pricing tables and information as received from Client payroll and/or HR
- Follow Client established payroll calendar to successfully meet deliverables for sharing newly created balance sheets, updated balance sheets and end of assignment notification with Client payroll contacts and Service Delivery Teams
- Ensure timely reconciliation of assignment related compensation with both Home and Host payrolls and ability to remedy discrepancies in a professional, timely and accurate manner
- Maintain detailed tracking of activities to ensure processed prescribed metrics (established by Client) can be reported on in a timely manner
- Update allowances (COLA, hardship, etc.) and changes to assignment packages, as required
- Assist with tax equalization collections and payments, including drafting of communications to assignees and tracking of payments
- Accurate data entry for Compensation related fields in Elite System
- Manage monthly global host payment accumulation and audit, ultimately to prepare accurate year-end global statement of earnings (GSOE) for each transferee,
- Participate in team meetings/cross departmental meetings, conference calls and training as needed; some travel may be required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience and/or training
- Corporate Relocation experience preferred but not required
- Intermediate Computer Skills
- Strong Excel experience is a plus
