1 Resource Group is currently seeking an experienced HR Manager with experience in the construction industry to join our client team in their home office in Tucson, Az. As an HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the human resources department, overseeing all aspects of employee relations and ensuring compliance with labor laws within the construction sector.
Working closely with the management team, you will develop and implement HR strategies and policies that support the company's growth objectives while fostering an inclusive and engaging work environment. With our focus on Professional, Technical, and Skilled Trades services, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our clients in the construction field.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full spectrum of HR functions within the construction industry, including recruitment, onboarding, training and development, performance management, and employee relations.
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures to support the company's overall objectives.
- Collaborate with managers to identify and address employee needs, conflicts, and performance issues.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including labor and safety laws, and stay up-to-date with industry-specific regulations.
- Provide guidance and counseling to employees and management on HR-related matters.
- Conduct investigations and take appropriate actions to resolve complaints or issues raised by employees.
- Develop and deliver training programs on topics like diversity and inclusion, harassment prevention, and safety awareness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.
- Proven experience as an HR Manager in the construction industry.
- Solid understanding of construction industry regulations and labor laws.
- Knowledge of recruitment and talent acquisition strategies within the construction sector.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships with employees at all levels.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Professional certifications in HR management will be an advantage.
