Mold Mitigation Technician

As a Mold Mitigation Technician at ABLEMKR, you will play a crucial role in identifying and remediating mold-related issues for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and assess mold damage in residential and commercial properties
• Develop and implement mold remediation plans and strategies
• Remove and dispose of mold-contaminated materials, following safety protocols
• Clean and sanitize affected areas using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Apply antimicrobial treatments to prevent future mold growth
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Collaborate with other tradespeople, such as plumbers and electricians, as needed for mold mitigation
• Document work activities and complete required paperwork

Requirements

• IICRC Certification preferred
• Prior experience in mold mitigation or a related field
• Knowledge of mold identification, assessment, and remediation techniques
• Familiarity with industry guidelines and regulations for mold mitigation
• Ability to effectively use mold testing equipment and tools
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in enclosed spaces
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
