Position Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our thriving organization as our enterprise-wide leader of Treatment Coordination Services. This leadership role is crucial for enhancing our orthodontic care delivery by training existing Treatment Coordinators, providing guidance on how to effectively manage orthodontic treatment journeys, overseeing revenue streams associated with orthodontic treatments, and helping existing Treatment Coordinators develop innovative financing options to facilitate patient access to care. The ideal candidate will be adept at driving results through effective training, influencing and leadership. Willingness to travel to dental practices throughout the US as needed to train and develop dental practice team members and guide patients into long term orthodontic care.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Training: Develop and lead advanced training programs for Treatment Coordinators, focusing on effective sales techniques, customer service skills tailored to orthodontic treatments, and innovative financing solutions.
- Creative Financing Solutions: Implement and manage creative financing options to make orthodontic care more accessible and affordable for patients, thereby driving the practice’s growth and patient satisfaction.
- Patient Journey Management: Oversee the entire treatment journey of each orthodontic patient, ensuring a seamless, supportive, and financially accommodating experience from initial consultation through treatment completion.
- Revenue and Results Management: Monitor and manage the revenue stream from orthodontic treatments, employing strategic initiatives to maximize profitability. Drive tangible results in terms of team performance and financial outcomes.
- Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to train and support Treatment Coordinators across multiple locations.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and enhance processes related to patient management, treatment coordination, and financing options.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with other senior management team members to align orthodontic treatment offerings with broader organizational goals.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards. Regularly report on treatment outcomes, patient satisfaction, and financial metrics to the executive team.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a management role within a DSO, preferably in orthodontic specialty. Experience as a Treatment Coordinator or overseeing TC’s in an Orthodontic Practice necessary. Proven experience in sales, revenue management, and creative financing in healthcare is essential.
- Skills: Strong leadership and organizational skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, ability to build rapport and influence, adept at problem-solving and decision-making.
