Position: Palliative Care Physician
Location: Chandler, AZ (We also have an opening in the West Valley if preferred)
Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: $340k - $400k / year
Bonus: Percent of Collections
Benefits: Med/Dent/Vis, PTO/Sick, 401k, CME Reimbursement, License Reimbursement, Malpractice Coverage, Partnership Track
Sign On Bonus / Relocation: Negotiable
Call Required: Yes (1 Weekend a Month)

In this role, you'll experience a supportive, in-patient work environment with no emergency calls and a flexible 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule, thanks to our consultant group model.
You’ll also have your own dedicated team, including two NPs who round under your guidance, ensuring comprehensive, compassionate care for patients with serious, chronic illnesses.

Duties:
1. Providing compassionate and effective inpatient palliative care consultation and direct care to patients facing serious illness and their families.
2. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to identify their immediate and ongoing needs, also taking into consideration the patient’s family members and caregivers.
3. Working closely with other physicians, coordinating care and managing symptoms associated with serious illness.
4. Building relationships with patients, establishing their goals for care and mapping out a care plan inclusive of these goals keeping their comfort a top priority.
5. Educating the healthcare team, patients, and families about palliative care and available services.
6. Collaborating with the palliative care team to provide and coordinate the best care for patients and advising on the choice of treatments.
7. Assisting families in making difficult medical decisions, offering emotional and moral support.
8. Document and manage patient's medical data accurately.
These activities will be accomplished while ensuring the utmost compassion and sensitivity towards the unique needs and situations of each patient in the palliative care process.
Other Requirements:
- Hospice & Palliative Care Fellowship Trained (Board Eligible or Board Certified)
- MD/DO License in AZ (or able to obtain)
