Key Responsibilities:

Payroll:

  • Review and confirm employee timesheets, sending friendly reminders for any missing entries.
  • Create payroll reports and oversee essential documentation.
  • Enter and validate employee information in Payroll Worksheets.
  • Maintain accuracy across deductions, gross pay, and payroll records.
  • Upload payroll files, kickstart processing, and generate insightful reports.
  • Log entries in QuickBooks and communicate totals via WhatsApp.
  • Manage invoice payments as required.

HR and Benefits:

  • Respond to employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and HR-related matters with care and attentiveness.
  • Facilitate benefits administration, processing enrollments and effective communication.
  • Keep employee records up to date and lend a helping hand during the onboarding process.
  • Assist with employee benefits programs to deliver a seamless experience for all staff members.
  • Offer essential administrative support for various HR initiatives and projects.

Requirements

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with online or cloud-based platforms is essential.
  • Previous experience as a Payroll or HR Assistant is a plus.
  • A solid 1-2 years of intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Experience with the Microsoft 365 Suite and Adobe Acrobat for 1-2 years is needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with discretion is crucial.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Skilled in payroll software such as Paychex, ADP, and QuickBooks Payroll.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks Online and proficient in handling journal entries.
  • Over 2 years of experience in payroll/HR support, ideally with a background in managing multi-location payroll.
