Salary: 60K - $79k + Bonus
Job Description:
The Safety Officer will be responsible for enforcing and maintaining safety programs and procedures to ensure the health and well-being of all employees. They will work closely with management and field personnel to promote and enforce safety standards and best practices throughout the organization. The Safety Officer will conduct regular inspections, identify potential hazards, and provide training and education to enhance safety awareness.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in the enforcing of a comprehensive safety program to maintain the safe and healthy work environment for our employees in multi-site operations.
· Skilled at enforcing policy decisions on a consistent basis.
· Minimizes our exposure and risk on projects.
· Skilled in the ability to identify and correct safety hazards on construction sites.
· Monitors and ensures compliance with all State and Federal safety laws
· Attends all applicable/necessary seminars and conferences.
· Helps manage employee accountability for policies and procedures.
· Provide Safety and First Aid company-wide inventory including required PPE.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Safety Officer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to conduct inspections and identify potential hazards
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Valid driver's license
