Senior Contracts Coordinator Responsibilities:
We are looking for a driven, Senior Contracts Coordinator, with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills to lead on a team.
- Prepare sales and purchase orders
- Prepare subcontracts and work orders
- Review and update existing contracts
- Prepare and submit payment and performance bonds
- Prepare and submit various forms for subcontractors and suppliers on federally funded projects
- Explain terms and conditions to managers and interested parties
- Ensure that employees understand and comply with company contracts
- Analyze potential risks involved with specific contract terms
- Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
- Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shipping’s)
- Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
- Create language standards for existing and new contracts
- Being the liaison between internal sales & project management teams
- Support and delegate work between a team of 3-4 persons.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Contract Coordinator
- Knowledge of legal requirements involved with contracts
- Familiarity with accounting procedures
- Excellent writing skills
- Keen attention to detail, with an ability to spot errors
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work with varying seniority levels, including staff, managers and external partners
- Ability to help lead a team of 3-4 people.
- Preferred BS degree in Business Administration; additional qualifications in law are also a plus
