Full Job Description
Our client, a large accounting and financial advisory firm, is currently seeking a Tax Director.
As the Tax Director, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's tax compliance, planning, and strategy. You will work closely with senior management and other departments to ensure tax compliance, minimize the company's tax liabilities, and identify tax planning opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Manage and oversee tax compliance, including the preparation and filing of tax returns, and handle any tax audits or inquiries.
- Provide guidance to senior management and other departments on tax matters, including the potential tax implications of business decisions and transactions.
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's tax position.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and authorities to address any tax-related issues or concerns.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in tax planning and compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or other relevant tax certifications.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in tax compliance and planning, preferably in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
