Ally Pediatric Therapy, a specialty clinic for children with autism and other childhood disorders, is looking for a VP of Revenue Cycle Management to join our team.
Our mission: To help children with autism and other childhood disorders learn, speak and grow in order to improve their quality of life and strengthen relationships with family and friends. To do so, we utilize a unique approach of integrating the principles of applied behavior analysis with speech-language pathology expertise.
The Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the revenue cycle management (RCM) process to maximize the company's cash collections, improve efficiency, and ensure compliance with all applicable policies and regulations. This role is critical in ensuring that our operations align with our financial goals and requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in finance and operations within behavioral health / autism.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute innovative strategies to optimize revenue cycle performance, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of revenue cycle professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments such as finance, operations, and IT to streamline processes, enhance revenue capture, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee key performance indicators (KPIs), metrics, and benchmarks to monitor revenue cycle performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive sustainable financial outcomes.
Revenue Cycle
- Develop and implement comprehensive strategies for the entire revenue cycle process, from patient access and service delivery to billing and collections
- Collaborate with other executive leaders to align revenue cycle processes with company-wide initiatives and objectives
- Oversee the design and implementation of technology solutions to improve revenue cycle efficiency and accuracy
- Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for all aspects of the revenue cycle to ensure targets are met and exceeded
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of revenue cycle professionals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and standards to ensure compliance and mitigate risk
- Negotiate and manage contracts with payers, vendors, and other stakeholders
- Provide financial expertise in forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning related to RCM activities
- Create a culture of continuous improvement within the revenue cycle department
- Report regularly to the CFO and other executives on revenue cycle performance and initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Healthcare Administration, Finance, or Information Systems
- Minimum of 5 years’ Experience in a Medical/Behavioral Health Group Practice with Emphasis on Back-Office Functions
- Comprehensive Knowledge of Claims Management, HIPAA standards, CMS Requirements, CPT, and HCPS Coding
- Excellent technology and computer skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Local candidates (Greater Phoenix) preferred but remote work is possible
- Experience with Applied Behavior Analysis, Speech Therapy or Behavioral Health preferred
