Elite Sourcing LLC is partnering with a prominent accounting firm in the industry, who is seeking an experienced and dedicated Audit Senior to join their team. As an Audit Senior, you will play a critical role in performing and managing audit engagements, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and compliance with applicable regulations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual looking to further their career in the field of auditing.
In this role, you will work closely with a team of professionals to plan and execute audit engagements, perform risk assessments, analyze financial statements, and communicate findings to clients. You will also have the opportunity to develop and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed. The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong foundation in auditing principles and practices, is detail-oriented, and has excellent communication and analytical skills.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute audit engagements, including assessing risks, developing audit programs, and performing fieldwork.
- Analyze financial statements and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Identify and communicate audit findings to clients, including recommendations for improvements in internal controls and accounting procedures.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in auditing standards and regulations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of audit methodologies and procedures.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to address audit-related queries and concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in external auditing.
- Strong knowledge of auditing principles, practices, and standards.
- Experience in financial statement analysis and risk assessment.
- Proficiency in auditing software and tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
