avad3 Event Production is looking for a dynamic and personable Sales Representative to pursue leads and build trust with new client relationships.
ABOUT THIS ROLE
The avad3 Sales Representative will engage customers during the initial phases of their event planning. Proactively focusing on sales, this role provides customers with a dedicated point of contact to discuss and initiate new projects, while actively pursuing new business opportunities to diversify and expand client accounts
The ideal qualified candidate has a technical knowledge and passion for event production. They’re comfortable and capable of closing sales opportunities and have experience staying organized in a customer-facing role. Ideal candidates come from either a strong technical production background and love being with people, or a strong sales background and a love for being in production.
This role proactively connects with prospective clients to listen to their needs, align them with our services, and provide tailored solutions to convert leads into long-term clients. This role requires strong communication, persistence, and the ability to handle objections while consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively reach out to potential customers via cold calls, emails, and online networking.
- Identify and research new leads and business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects to understand their needs.
- Introduce and explain the company’s products or services to potential clients.
- Build active knowledge about the event production industry
- Schedule meetings, product demos, or consultations with qualified leads.
- Follow up with prospects consistently to nurture relationships and move them through the sales funnel.
- Overcome objections, negotiate terms, and prepare sales agreements to close deals.
- Maintain accurate records of all interactions and sales activities in CRM software.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align strategies and optimize lead generation efforts.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Answer questions about potential event options

Experience:
- Experience: Proven experience in outbound sales, business development, or a related role. 2-3 years ideal.
- Sales Knowledge: Strong understanding of sales principles and methods.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with sales software, CRM systems, and common office tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Google Suite).
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the event production industry and/or the ability to quickly learn.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not always required).
- Results-Oriented: Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Adaptability: Ability to adjust strategies and tactics in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Self-Motivation: Strong internal drive to achieve sales goals without constant supervision.
