We are looking for a talented designer who can create stunning photo-realistic renderings and presentations for clients and prepare production ready art for our manufacturing partners. You have at least a few years of experience under your belt, but more important than the exact number of years is your willingness to continually learn and grow. Our onboarding team will ensure you have the tools, support, and training not only to do the job, but to be successful in our self-organized structure.
Salary
You'll join our team on a 4-month contract basis with the potential for a full-time position in August 2024. As a part of our design team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise across various projects. The hourly rate for this contract position ranges from $35 to $45, commensurate with experience and skill level. At the end of the 4-month period there may be an opportunity to transition into a full-time role, where the annual salary would range between $70,000 to $75,000, plus incredible benefits.

Our company culture operates as a self-organized (TEAL) business. Put simply, we are a team responsible to each other, not to a traditional organizational hierarchy. We are not big on titles, we’re big on personal accountability, personal growth and doing the right thing.
Based in Venice, California, our team enjoys the flexibility of a hybrid schedule. We work 2 days a week in our office on Abbot Kinney Blvd and the balance of the week from wherever we like as long as we get our jobs done.

About The Opportunity
Your job is to design and create renderings of products, bags and accessories that support our client’s marketing and promotional strategies. You’ll do this by creating client presentations, product renderings and factory ready production artwork.
We don’t design products that eventually end up in landfills. We create cost effective, high perceived value promotional products that our client’s consumers love.
We don’t design by committee. We respect your design expertise. But you won’t be designing in a silo. As a member of our Creative Team, you’ll be interacting and collaborating daily with other designers as well as team members that have expertise in:
- Sourcing & Production
- Sales & Marketing
- Research & Strategy
- Sustainability
Every role in the business is essential to helping us achieve our revenue targets. Our work typically includes four stages: Discover, Design, Develop and Deliver.
Your role is key in each of these stages:
- Discover: Researching prospective clients, trends and creating presentations to help our sales team build meaningful connections that lead to a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Design: Applying what you have discovered to each design or collection you create.
- Develop: Collaborating with the internal team and our clients to ensure the products are on brand, within budget and meet the needs of the brief
- Production: Creating production ready art to ensure the final product is manufactured to match your design renderings
You’ll work alongside an account team to effectively qualify each project brief, understand the client’s brand, expectations, and the sourcing and manufacturing resources needed to design and develop a meaningful and sustainable product solution.
This job is perfect for a designer who experiences joy when we close a deal, whether it’s for a design that they produced, the result of team brainstorming or the work of a teammate.
