WEAH'S COMPANION SERVICE INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operations of our company. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a proactive attitude.


Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain executive calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments as necessary
  • Handle and prioritize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls
  • Prepare and distribute important documents, reports, and presentations
  • Assist in organizing and coordinating company events, conferences, and meetings
  • Maintain and update databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
  • Support senior staff members in various administrative tasks and projects
  • Conduct research and gather data to assist in decision making
  • Collaborate with other administrative personnel to ensure smooth office operations
  • Handle ad-hoc administrative requests as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
  • Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • High school diploma; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus
