WEAH'S COMPANION SERVICE INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operations of our company. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and a proactive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain executive calendars, scheduling meetings and appointments as necessary
- Handle and prioritize incoming and outgoing correspondence, including mail, emails, and phone calls
- Prepare and distribute important documents, reports, and presentations
- Assist in organizing and coordinating company events, conferences, and meetings
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Monitor office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Support senior staff members in various administrative tasks and projects
- Conduct research and gather data to assist in decision making
- Collaborate with other administrative personnel to ensure smooth office operations
- Handle ad-hoc administrative requests as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- High school diploma; additional qualifications in office administration are a plus
