The Role:
As a Administrative Associate you will be responsible for the transportation of goods and materials for a company, working with drivers, shipping companies, and other logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery in good condition. Their responsibilities include:
- Operations
- Overseeing day-to-day dispatching operations, managing drivers' schedules, and communicating with stakeholders
- Relationships
- Building and maintaining relationships with drivers, partners, and stakeholders
- Tracking
- Tracking inventory movements and managing the inventory database to ensure inventory is moving efficiently and effectively
- Administration
- Supervising administrative formalities and keeping documentation organized and up to date
- Some skills that may be helpful for this role include:
- Adaptability: Being able to respond to change and recover from problems quickly
- Organization and time management: Being able to set priorities and handle a high volume of work
- Attention to detail: Being good with numbers and weight calculations
- Communication: Being able to listen and communicate verbally
Requirements
- Proven experience as dispatcher or relevant position
- Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods
- Fast typing with experience in data entry
- Knowledge of procedures and guideline for emergency situations
- Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
- Active listener with excellent communication skills
- Sound judgement and critical thinking
- High school diploma
Preferred Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of e-commerce, the online returns process, and logistics
- Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
- Strong Excel / PowerPoint skills (or Google Suite equivalent)
