Full Job Description
BPCM is looking for a talented candidate to join our growing LA team as an Assistant Account Executive on our Influencer & Celebrity Relations team. We are looking for an organized, solutions-oriented thinker that is passionate about all things trending in the world of celebrity integration & influencer marketing.
This is an entry-level role where the candidate will begin to create relationships with influencers, stylists, and local talent and develop an understanding of influencer marketing, celebrity dressing & gifting initiatives and more including: organizing seeding/gifting projects, vetting and introducing talent to brands, social media campaign logistics and prompting high-impact earned media results via creative programming. Ideal candidates must be great at multi-tasking and team players who have a high-level of attention to detail.
Responsibilities will be (but are not limited to):
- Assist in execution of influencer & celebrity relations strategies for clients across fashion, wine & spirits, beauty, mobility, and more
- Create call agendas and take notes outlining client and internal action items
- Work to foster and develop relationships with brand-appropriate influencers & stylists and their teams
- Assist in planning small influencer activations, events and programs
- Conduct/organize mailings in conjunction in-house team or mailing house
- Manage shipping and messengering products, ensuring accuracy in presentation and delivery
- Pro-actively search for client placements on social media & photo sites and distributing images to the client once secured
- Maintain appropriate presentation of client collections within the showroom and managing inventories
- Participate in brainstorms for creative partnership and activation ideas for clients
- Assist with VIP outreach to talent teams (publicists, managers and agents) to secure targeted talent to attend client or project-based events
- Handle white-glove services for special events, including booking glam, cars and wardrobe and creating a detailed event itinerary for each VIP event attendee
- Create celebrity dressing and special event press releases and distributing them to fashion and entertainment media via Launchmetrics
- Participate in Los Angeles event staffing for clients across the company
- Assist team in updating weekly and monthly client reports as well as any project, event, or campaign recaps
- Track and report social media metrics both manually and through Lefty
Requirements
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships
- Awareness of and passion for discovering interesting influencers & celebrities based in LA across all professional fields
- Problem solving and solution-oriented with a positive and proactive attitude
- Ability to multi-task and juggle a diverse range of clients and projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills i.e., Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience using Launchmetrics is a plus, but not required
