Candle Media is seeking a Assistant to the CFO who will be responsible for the administrative function including organization, schedule management, travel, and ad hoc projects.
The ideal candidate will be driven, highly organized and eager to learn the financial aspects of a media and entertainment organization. This role is based in LA and in office 4-days per week.
- Manage extremely active calendar of appointments; ensuring the day is schedule and organized in an efficient way
- Assist with planning logistics of meetings as needed
- Organize and prioritize deadlines, follow up on tasks and keep manager informed of progress
- Identify ways to enhance executive productivity and organizational effectiveness proposing and helping drive execution of solutions
- Interface with internal and external parties with high level of professionalism
- Book appropriate domestic and international travel, and ensure expense reporting is accurate and submitted in a timely fashion
- Ad hoc special project requests including, Amex Reporting, Corporate Subscriptions, Company credit card – payments – office card – supplies, kitchen, Board meeting organization, Office Management
Requirements
- 3-5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant supporting the C-Suite
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
- Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to interact with senior leaders
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines promptly and efficiently
- Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
- High level of discretion with confidential and sensitive information
- Critical thinker who is intellectually curious and solution oriented
