Full Job Description
The Associate Manager, Consumer Insights will support the Manager, Consumer Insights in collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to execute the full research process from scoping to report generation and synthesize insights from various data sources. The role involves coordinating with various teams to align research objectives and supporting the integration of insights into project milestones. The ideal candidate will be driven, passionate, impactful, and excited to join a small yet nimble team.
Requirements
- Support the creation, execution, analysis, and reporting of research projects across a diverse portfolio of games to meet key milestones and deadlines.
- Execute on various parts of the planning and execution across phases of the market research process including: RFP development, questionnaire writing, data collection, survey programming & testing, field and quota management, and accurate delivery of data tables/reports.
- Analyze and synthesize research findings into key insights and develop clever approaches to data analysis.
- Bring ideas to translate brand, marketing, and business objectives into addressable research studies.
- Support in managing multiple internal and external vendors across North America and Europe (coordinate project bids, discover new vendors for nontraditional methodologies, recommend matrix of partners, manage projects flawlessly from end to end).
- Execute full-scale research projects, including recruitment, fieldwork, data gathering, IP equity reviews, and report generation.
- Work alongside the Manager, Consumer Insights to drive insightful takeaways by leveraging multiple disparate sources including primary, secondary, syndicated, industry, social, internal, and external dashboards.
- Ensure the seamless delivery of projects through each phase including partner onboarding and contracts, risk and privacy assessments, fulfillment, and invoicing.
- Build and maintain an internal research library, data dictionary, and competitive reports
- Other duties as required.
- Performance Measures: Success is measured by stakeholder satisfaction and ad hoc feedback, with a focus on continually improving the deep understanding of consumers and key audiences.
Qualification & Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in market research (agency-side preferred)
- Previous experience in consumer insights, market research, or a similar role within the gaming or entertainment industry.
- Proficiency in research methodologies, including concept testing, survey design, and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple research projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for effectively sharing insights with stakeholders.
- Top-notch Excel/PowerPoint/Word skills—you must be excited to make reports that are both accurate and beautiful and know your way around a pivot table
- Familiarity with tools and software used in market research and data analysis, such as survey platforms, data visualization tools, SPSS, Qualtrics/Alchemer
- Knowledge of data visualization techniques and how to creatively showcase data most compellingly.
- Analytical mindset with a natural curiosity about the consumer, passionate about interpreting research findings and generating actionable recommendations.
- Nimble and self-motivated; great at prioritizing and managing multiple projects independently.

Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
