The Role?
Join our dynamic team as an Associate Manager, Visual Merchandising at OUAI. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented individual to assist in the development and execution of captivating visual merchandising strategies for our lifestyle brand. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the brand's image and driving sales through compelling visual displays.
What You’ll Do:
- This role is responsible for supporting all visual merchandise related graphic retailer updates and animations across global accounts
- Create and manage planograms in 2D
- Provide support for retailer presentations, internal meetings and summit meetings as needed
- Liaise with Sr. Manager, Visual Merchandising to build global VM strategy and execute on these plans
- Work with Sales team to initiate planograms and assortments
- Maintain, update, and create the dielines for VM graphics, price rails, and shelf strips for each launch required at Sephora US, Sephora CAN, Sephora x Kohls, Ulta, Ulta at Target, and international retailers.
- Prepare and package all artwork for submission.
- Partner with creative brand Sr manager and graphic designers to enhance visual presentation and make sure all assets are cohesive across the board
- Manage and organize a system for final renders, final graphics, final instruction sheets, in store photos, and prototypes for other teams to easily access.
- Conduct industry analysis and consistently maintain a database for resources and trends
- Liaise with the copy writer on taglines and key info for graphics. Work with a translation company to get all new copy translated.
- Organize all new copy translations in a timely manner
- Update merchandising live deck per update with call outs for new additions and product removals.
- Partner with vendors and ensure best in class execution
- Review and route instruction sheets
- Review and route all die-lines to necessary teams
- Review and route engineering drawings and prototypes for approval with SR Manager.
- Provide prompt guidance and feedback to vendors to ensure production does not get delayed
- Initiate creative briefs with PMs as required
- Order and send testers to vendors when needed
- Uphold brand standards and guidelines while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
Requirements
What You’ll Bring:
- BFA/BA in Design or Industrial Design
- 2+ years in visual merchandising experience in beauty or related industry

- Highly driven, energetic, flexibility and team spirited
- Strong presentation skills and able to clearly present ideas to cross functional teams
- Strong understanding of beauty retail landscape and retailers like Sephora and Ulta
- Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Strong, well-rounded design skills and knowledge of graphic design.
- Attention to detail, ability to execute flawlessly, strong knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes
- Ability to effectively convey ideas through 2D drawings and 3D renderings
- Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop, and Office suite
- Experience in 3DSMax a plus
