Resource Innovations is seeking a AWS DevOps Engineer. This is remote position requiring occasional in-person office meetings for candidates residing in one of the following metro areas San Francisco CA, Chicago IL, Phoenix AZ, Denver CO, or Madison WI. This position will work on a wide range of SaaS products on AWS platform that fundamentally changes how utilities manage business processes and customer initiatives for energy efficiency, renewable energy, demands response and conservation. We are looking for candidates who want to work on things that make an impact on the world and are passionate about product craftsmanship.
We require candidates to currently reside in the United States. Unfortunately, we are not offering visa sponsorship or extensions for this position.
The AWS DevOps Engineer is responsible for developing, maintaining, and managing AWS technology infrastructure leveraging cloud services and automation to ensure SaaS solutions are optimized for functionality, performance, and cost. This role will be responsible for developing and driving AWS cloud deployment, integration of new cloud services, CI/CD automation and pipelines.
As a member of the technology team, you will work to transform current cloud technology capabilities across portfolio of SaaS products and pave the way for best-in-class solutions. You will identify opportunities to leverage cloud architecture, identify new and emerging technologies and design platform that will optimize delivery of SaaS products.

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for design, management and maintenance of cloud infrastructure in support of commercial SaaS products portfolio.
- Architect solutions, leveraging IaaS (Infrastructure-As-A-Service) components and other tools.
- Research, analyze and propose best-in-class solutions to continuously improve efficiency and effectiveness of the cloud platform.
- Optimized platform leveraging serverless computing, cloud services and container orchestration focusing on availability, performance and redundancy.
- Work with fellow DevOps engineers on provisioning, CI/CD pipelines, configuration management, Security and Software Release process.
- Develop and integrate of new cloud technologies, build automated next gen CI/CD pipelines partnering with SaaS teams.
- Define cloud standards, DevOps, CI/CD process and Standard Operating Environment
- Monitor underlying operating infrastructure and proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Manage security and compliance of cloud infrastructure.
- Meet customer SLAs while striving to provide world-class service.
- Participate in team sprint planning and stand-ups with the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field
- 4+ years of DevOps experience with AWS cloud
- Deep technical experience with cloud architecture, systems engineering, virtualization, serverless computing, networking, storage, security, and system administration
- Along with AWS cloud platform, technical expertise in multiple areas, such as operating systems, network infrastructure, security infrastructure, databases, application servers, and monitoring systems
- Experience deploying and managing high large cloud platforms, automation of CI/CD pipelines and Software Release Process
- Hands-on experience with Terraform, Jenkins, Grafana, Git
- Strong understanding of AWS computing technologies, emerging trends, and application of technologies to optimize workloads.
- Experience managing, monitoring, troubleshooting and supporting commercial cloud SaaS platforms
- Strong analytic and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail, be well organized and a self-starter.

The compensation range for this exempt position is $110,000 - $144,282. The stated range is based on a good faith estimate of the compensation range for the duties, responsibilities and skills / experience required for the position. Starting pay will be dependent on experience and internal equity. This provided range may exceed this range for well-qualified candidates, especially with industry experience.
