Full Job Description
We're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Technician to join our team. We provide quality ABA therapy that focuses on the individual needs of each client and family. Our ultimate goal is to improve the client's quality of life and promote independence through clinically proven methods. Our BCBA's are invested and present in every step of therapy. Behavioral Technicians are responsible for providing direct ABA services to clients with Autism and related developmental disorders in the home, school, and community. We are committed to a high standard of services by investing our time into creating highly qualified staff that shares our values to make a difference in the lives of the clients and families we serve.
This is a part time-time position. Potential of growing into full-time status.
We are seeking Behavior Technicians throughout Costal Orange County (Huntington Beach-San Clemente).
Responsibilities
- Provide Direct ABA services to clients (2-14 yrs old)
- Implement behavior plan created by supervising BCBA, using ABA strategies to decrease maladaptive behaviors and teach appropriate replacement skills
- Collect and record accurate data in a timely manner
- Provide a safe and supportive environment for clients and their family
- Be available to work afternoons
- Communicate with supervising BCBA
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Behavioral Technician or similar role
- Experience working with children
- Must be physically fit and able to sit on floor and move around with clients
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to connect with clients
- Registered Behavior Technician or willing to obtain
- Reliable transportation, Drivers License
- Pass criminal background check
- TB test
