The Ticketing Manager is responsible for managing and analyzing ticketing data to support business decisions and optimize the company's performance. The role will involve overseeing the data management process, generating reports, and providing valuable insights to key stakeholders. Additionally, you will collaborate with the finance team and other departments to ensure accurate budgeting and financial analysis for the company's events.
This is a full-time, in-office role that reports to Finance. The salary for this position is $70,000.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Those duties are necessary to meet the minimum requirements of the position. Other duties may be assigned:
Managerial Duties:
- Act as the primary liaison for all ticketing operations at assigned venues, cultivating strong relationships with promoters, ticketing staff, guests, and partners.
- Lead the hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision of Box Office personnel, ensuring adherence to the companyβs ticketing policies and procedures.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maintain high staff morale and operational efficiency.
Event Management:
- Organize and oversee nightly Box Office operations during events, including Ticket Sales, Will Call, and Ticketing Scanning.
- Manage event setup and maintenance within ticketing software, assisting with event programming, reporting, and ticket holds.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Production, and Talent departments, artist management, and label representatives to meet ticketing needs and optimize revenue strategies.
- Ensure ADA-compliant ticketing practices are consistently implemented.
Accounting/Financial Duties:
- Maintain accurate Box Office accounting records, ensuring compliance with cash handling policies and procedures.
- Perform daily reconciliation of Box Office safe, prepare deposits, and generate daily financial reports.
- Prepare detailed Box Office settlement reports promptly after events and participate in event settlements as required.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Manage event-related data, including attendee information, ticket sales, schedules, and vendor details.
- Analyze ticket sales data to identify patterns, trends, and insights for pricing strategies and marketing efforts.
- Track device distribution, return of company property, and manage POS systems during events.
- Evaluate new software solutions and train users on reports and dashboards to enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and monitor KPIs to assess event success and drive continuous improvements.
- Create visually compelling reports and dashboards for stakeholders, conducting ROI analysis to optimize resource allocation and event profitability.
Other Duties:
- Monitor ticketing software and hardware, promptly reporting and resolving issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends and participate in relevant meetings and conferences.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop contingency plans, and perform cost-benefit analyses for event-related initiatives.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build, improve, and maintain effective relationships with clients, vendors, and employees.
- Handle any escalated security issues or emergency situations appropriately.
- Take a proactive role in communicating with the client and meeting their needs by meeting with them regularly, listening to issues, and providing technical expertise and solutions. Ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Proven experience in venue management.
- Creativity and resourcefulness in problem-solving.
- Budget management experience, with attention to financial details.
- Knowledge of event safety and risk management protocols.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Work long and irregular hours when necessary, including but not limited to weekends and holidays, when necessary, in either the preparation or working of an event
- The job is generally performed in an office setting; however, during site visits and event days you will be regularly required to constantly walk, stand, reach with both hands and arms, and must be able to drive a vehicle. Due to the outdoor nature of our events the employee might be subjected to adverse conditions such as rain, cold or heat for periods of time.
- The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. May be required to climb stairs on an intermittent basis depending on the site.

- Experience with Ticket Spice is REQUIRED.
- Strong proficiency in Google Suite, Asana, and Slack.
- Excellent customer service skills to both internal and external customers.
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment while also being a self-starter.
- Ability to effectively manage event details over the phone, email, and in-person.
- Strong time management skills to effectively meet all goals and deadlines.
- Effective communication including strong presentation skills on-site and in client meetings.
- Ability to make recommendations and decisions on assigned projects especially in time sensitive cases with little oversight.
- Ability to effectively address client and guest concerns striving to maintain a calm composure and find solutions.
