As a Business Operations Manager, you will help shape Oura’s growth trajectory and operational capabilities. To do this, you will collaborate with leaders and work closely with teams across the organization to bring concepts and plans to life. This hands-on role requires strong analytics, strategic thinking, and deep supply chain knowledge. You will have involvement in studying data for improvements, managing suppliers, and implementing process tech solutions, and updating leadership on related metrics and plans. You will be an integral member of our Operations team and report into the Director of Business Operations.
What you will do:
Strategic Analysis and Planning
- Conduct in-depth analyses to shape Oura's strategic direction and growth plans
- Develop comprehensive operational strategies and plans to enable execution of business strategies
- Analyze operational data to identify opportunities, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align operational plans with overall business objectives
Supply Chain & Operations Optimization
- Lead efforts to optimize and streamline Oura's supply chain operations
- Analyze supply chain performance metrics and identify areas for cost savings and efficiency gains
- Manage relationships and negotiations with key suppliers and logistics partners
- Implement supply chain process improvements and new technologies to drive operational excellence
Operational Planning and Improvements
- Define and implement operational processes, systems, and best practices across global operations
- Develop detailed operational plans and roadmaps to execute on strategic initiatives
- Identify opportunities for operational improvements through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration
- Oversee testing and implementation of process changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
This is a remote US role with a slight preference for candidates based in San Francisco.
Requirements
- 3 - 5+ years of experience in business operations, management consulting, investment banking in the technology or consumer goods industry
- In-depth experience in supply chain & operational analysis and improvement efforts
- Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, & Tableau
- Ability to pivot between strategic thinking and tactical analysis & planning
- Effective cross-functional communication with leadership and stakeholders
- Comfortable with navigating ambiguous, complex problems
- Have a personal connection to Oura’s mission and improving human health
- Use your analytical and problem-solving prowess to derive actionable insights

Oura takes a market-based approach to pay, which may vary depending on your location. US locations are categorized into tiers based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. While most offers will be closer to the starting range, successful candidates' pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, internal peer equity, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
- Region 1: $120,000 - $134,000
- Region 2 $ 114,000 - $127,300
- Region 3 $ 108,000 - $120,600
